It is specifically designed for applications where an improvement in the performance of conventional gravity settlers is needed, and coalescer packings may be unsuitable due to fouling problems from a high concentration of solids or waxy compounds in the feed; or when minimum pressure drop is required.

Modular in construction, the separators are ideal for retro-fitting to existing horizontal gravity settlers to improve separation performance and increase flow rates.
